Versatile space camera

Auricam has been designed to cover a wide range of missions, such as space surveillance and detection (SSA, SDA), in-orbit services, monitoring and navigation.

Compact and available off-the-shelf

Auricam has an optimal ratio between size, weight and power consumption (SWAP). Auricam is designed for a high production rate and therefore with a short delivery time.

Baffle and image

Thanks to its baffle, Auricam delivers an image with an optimal signal-to-noise ratio in all conditions and protects against stray light. With a resolution of 4 MPx, the image is in the visible range, available in black and white or color.

Optical Head and Electronic Unit

Several fields of view are available to meet all operational needs: 80°, 35° & 8°. An optional Electronic Unit allows the management of 2 cameras via a SpaceWire interface.

Auricam numerical model - Software library

Enhance your simulation and validation workflow with our Camera Numerical Model. The AURICAM numerical model simulates realistic images, considering:
• All detector noises and sequencing effects ;
• Optical distortion ;
• Intra and inter pixel sensitivity ;
• Straylight effects ;
• PSF ;
• Protons.
The model includes a star catalog, into which you can input your 3D models.

Electronic ground support equipment

EGSE is available to drive Auricam for all your test needs.

Camera acceptance test plan

We can adapt Auricam Acceptance tests to best suit your specification – from minimum performance tests for optimal cost, to full environmental and performance characterization.

Technical support

Any questions about Camera use or performance ? Our experts are here to help ! We offer several support options:
• Remote technical support ;
• Mission-specific Radiation and Performance assessment ;
• Additional technical support on demand ;
• Customization.
Should you have any specific needs, we can help find the best cost-performance trade-off.

All our products undergo Space Qualification, involving stringent testing under extreme conditions to ensure robustness and high performances
