Promises kept, Hydra Access delivered on time!
3 months ago, we announced a new Hydra Access contract for a customer in the United Kingdom. Today, we are proud to confirm that the 3 optical heads have been successfully delivered in less than three months, as committed.
Hydra CP is designed to connect multiple optical heads to the On-Board Computer (OBC) through a centralized processing software library. Integrated directly into the spacecraft processor, this configuration enables the processing of data from multiple optical heads without dedicated electronic units, and is compatible with any processor.
Hydra Access is the same product, with the same performance as Hydra CP, but from a chosen Level 1 configuration. This allows us to produce Hydra Access units in advance of any customer PO, in large batches, thus significantly reducing both cost and lead time as a true off-the-shelf (OTS) product.
